Ideally I would like to be able to have 16 measures of looped audio that I could activate at each instrument and record to a designated track and activate and deactivate upon pressing a foot switch. Unfortunately I do not know enough about system architecture to be able to integrate all of these instruments into the system all at once. I use the Gibson Echoplex to loop certain instruments and perform live and record loop tracks. I know the electronic drums and keyboard are both MIDI compatible, as well as the in / out midi ports on the Alesis Interface. I would love to be able to have all of these instruments plugged in and ready to go at all times able to record and all communicating with each other via MIDI or whatever is best.
How to connect an interface to sony sound forge pro 10 plus#
Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro Plus with Footpedal Roland XP-80 Music Workstation / Sequencer / Keyboard The current setup is less than organized, and typically I just revert to recording one track at a time and have to painfully configure each instrument every time I record because of my lack of knowledge surrounding system configuration.Īlesis Firewire Multimix 8 (8 channel into computer via Firewire) I am wondering if anyone can help me develop the best system architecture to interface all of the instruments for recording.
I use a combination of different programs including Sound Forge Pro 10 to record live instruments and arrange into tracks for various projects.
